What to Expect During Your Sewer Repairs
Scheduling Your Plumbing Appointment
When you call McNabb Plumbing, we’ll discuss your problem and look to get a feel for what the cause may be. Sometimes, you may know what’s wrong, and other times you have water leaking somewhere and you’re just not sure of anything else. No worries! We’ll gather as much information about your problem as possible and work with you to identify a time that fits your schedule where we can come out to see the problem in person.
Site Visit and Estimate
Typically speaking, one of our plumbers will arrive on-scene within a day of your call (or sooner, in the event of an emergency) and will look at the problem with you. We’ll provide you an estimate of the work we’ll do and make sure to discuss the project with you in its entirety–there are no hidden fees or charges you’ll “find out about later.”
During every visit, our plumbers wear protective gear that protects your house during our visit, as the last thing we’d ever want to do is create more trouble for you. We use non-invasive, infrared technology to look at leaks and pipes behind your walls, and we go to great lengths to minimize our impact in your home.
Our Plumbing Work
We will most likely ask you to turn off your water before we arrive, and if you have leaks or flooding, then you may have already done this. If you can’t find the stop-cock, then the first thing that the plumber will do upon arrival is turn off your water.
Then we will examine the problem. This might take a while, depending upon where the problem is coming from. Our plumbers might need to lift up boards in order to find the cause of your problem, or will have to go into the attic or crawl space, looking at all of the plumbing. Don’t worry, we’re very good at being as noninvasively as possible and returning your home to the same condition (or better) which we found it.
Our plumbers should be able to tell you what parts are needed to correct the problem, and approximately how long it will take to repair or replace. None of this is written in stone, of course, but it will give you an idea of what to expect.
Both during and following the work, your plumber and our office staff will consult you on what is happening. If any changes need to be made, they will tell you, and will not consider the job complete until you have signed off on the work.
After Our Plumber has Finished
Once you’ve signed off on the work, we’ll invoice you within a week’s time. You’ll have XXXX amount of time to pay our invoices. Also, we’ll write more content for each of these so they are interesting. Once you’ve signed off on the work, we’ll invoice you within a week’s time. What People Are Saying About Our Work
“I chose McNabb Plumbing because they won the Reader’s Choice Award Winner and of their policy to satisfy and keep their customers. Two of their plumbers, Michael D. and Mark came to the house – I was totally impressed with their competence, knowledge and mannerisms. Although it was a challenging job they remained pleasant, courteous, showed concern for the house, worked together skillfully and solved the problem efficiently. They are outstanding. This was the second time Michael was here and I was completely satisfied with his mannerisms and ability on both visits. I would not hesitate to call McNabb and ask for Michael D. and Mark.”
Sean and John did an EXCELLENT job troubleshooting a very difficult sewer line clog problem. They took the needed time to analyze/solve the issue. Many thanks to them.
Very Knowledgeable. I’ve dealt with many technicians, Mike was great. I’ll always recommend him/McNabb
Have used McNabb Plumbing for over 20 years and have always been very happy. However, my happiness went to another level recently when Bill suggested that I consider a tankless water heater. We made the investment this past April have just been thrilled. No more cold showers! All the hot water you want, when you want it! Plus, not having the water tank in the basement freed up space for other use. I will always use Mcnabb Plumbing because of their quality but also because of their commitment to always staying on top of their customers’ needs and suggesting better ways to do things.
After being told by Gilliece I would be looking at spending 9-12 thousand dollars, and stressing it’s an ASAP situation. They misled me into viewing I couldn’t even use my toilet and this needed to be addressed NOW… Thank God I called McNabb… Sean came in and saved the day. He was professional and honest and extremely courteous. and McNabb plumbing is definitely a referral I will be sending out to everyone. From the minute I called everyone was wonderful. Thank you for being the professional honest business that you are. In a world of scammers. It’s absolutely amazing to find a business Like this.
